Two people died within two hours of each other on the same stretch of road. Jason Lee Craig Peers died the same day as Nathan. Last year another man was killled on the same road Steve Galsworthy was a landlord in a pub. I did not know any of them but wanted to do a tribute to them.

If you wish to help support the campaign and give hope to more than 9,000 people waiting for a transplant here is the website: uktransplant .org.uk
Those people are very lucky to have a part of Nathan. As I believe through all I have read that he was a wonderful young man. Having a son the same age myself has really brought this home to me. My heart and my thoughts are with his family right now. You brought up a wonderful young man who lost his life trying to help someone else. Says so much about what type of person he was.

Nathan was our caring loving son
A MODEL Bournemouth student has lost his fight for life after a night-time tragedy.
Police said Nathan Ridler, 17, was involved in an incident outside Subway in Holdenhurst Road on Sunday, and died that evening.
Nathan had been celebrating a friend's 18th birthday party at The Empire across the road.
Friends and teachers described him as a popular and hard-working student with a bright future.
A statement issued by Dorset police on behalf of Nathan's parents said: "Nathan was a beloved son to Dierdre and Alan and he was the middle child to a 21-year-old older brother and a younger 14-year-old brother.
"He was a caring, loving son, who was full of life, and hard-working.
"He attended Brockenhurst College where he was a Grade A student in all his subjects and had a prosperous career to look forward to.
"He had recently passed his driving test at the first attempt.
"He loved football, golf and snooker, and was an exclellent sportsman with a bedroom full of trophies.
"He was well loved by an amazing group of friends and by his family."
Nathan lived with his parents at The Grove, Moordown, and it is understood he worked part time at Topman.
Friends left dozens of tributes on Nathan's Bebo profile page and also left floral tributes outside Subway.
They included: "It should never have happened to such a lovely person. You will be hugely missed. Love Becca and Jasmine."
"You will be sadly missed in my heart. Such a good friend. Liam Snell."
"Legend! Miss you like crazy mate you will never be forgotten Nath! Love Jack Hayter."
The ambulance service had a report Nathan was unconscious at 2.08am and took him to Poole Hospital, where he died at 10.02pm.

"I saw him in Bournemouth that night in the street - he seemed jolly like he usually is."
James Simms, deputy head of Winton Arts and Media College, said Nathan's former school was in shock.
"Nathan was one of our model students," he said.

"We all feel he had great potential and a great future ahead of him."
Nathan was in his second year at Brockenhurst College studying A-levels in information technology, economics and business and accounting.
College principal Di Roberts said: "Nathan was a lovely and very bright young man. He was very popular with peers and staff."

A GIFT OF LIFE
By Stephen Bailey
ORGANS DONATED: Nathan Ridler
NATHAN Ridler's family made the decision to donate his organs, helping save four people.
The Bournemouth student, 17, suffered fatal head injuries in an incident outside Subway in Holdenhurst Road last month.
Father Alan, 46, said: "His organs saved two adults and two children- one of them was very close to death."
Brother Darren, 21, said: "It shows his life wasn't wasted. He has gone on to help people in other ways."
Several months ago the family changed doctors and were asked if they wanted to sign up as donors.
"Nathan said, why not?" his mum Deirdre, 46, told the Echo from the family home in The Grove, Moordown," adding: "It brings some comfort."
Nathan, who would have been 18 next month, died at Poole Hospital at 10pm on Sunday, February 24.
Martin Smits, Poole Hospital's director of nursing, said: "An organ donation is a gift that saves a life or enhances the quality of life. It can be the most difficult decision a family ever makes, but we've never known of anyone who regretted making it."
Deirdre and Alan urged others to consider becoming donors. The family of one of Nathan's friends wrote to say they were all becoming donors.
Alan later visited the scene of the incident, which has become covered in flowers. He said: "It was difficult to deal with the visit but it was lovely to know how much people cared about him."
“An organ donation is a gift that saves a life or enhances the quality of life. It can be the most difficult decision a family ever makes, but we’ve never known of anyone who regretted making it.”

Deirdre said: "A lot of the children have been down there every night since it happened."
Tributes flooded in, among them some 200 cards.
The family is still waiting for the body to be released and faces months of court hearings after a man was charged with manslaughter.
Deirdre said: "I'm determined to go to every hearing."
The death has hit Nathan's brother, Ryan, 12 hard and Nathan's friends have been calling round for him.
Deirdre said: "Nathan and Ryan used to watch EastEnders together but Ryan hasn't watched an episode since."
Nathan was an A-grade student at Brockenhurst College who worked part time at Topman, Castlepoint and had recently applied for a job at accountant Price Waterhouse Coopers.
His football team manager, Steve Thompson from Greenfields Youth FC, said: "It was a privilege to have Nathan in the team. As a thoughtful, likeable, hardworking, team player, I had no hesitation naming him Manager's Player of the Year."
Nathan, a full back, was also named Players' Player of the Year.Friends played a football match in his honour in black shirts inscribed with his name at the Littledown Centre.
Brockenhurst College held a two-minute silence and lowered its flag to half-mast.
Update 17/6/2008
AN 18-YEAR-OLD has pleaded guilty to the killing of a popular teenager on a Bournemouth street.
Nathan Ridler, a 17-year-old grade A student and talented footballer, died from head injuries after he was punched and hit his head on the ground.
His distraught parents described him as a "caring and loving son".
Yesterday Jamie Lee Sloane, from Pauntley Road in Christchurch, appeared at Winchester Crown Court accused of manslaughter.
He pleaded guilty to unlawfully killing Nathan outside the Subway sandwich shop in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, on Sunday February 24 this year.
Nathan, who lived with his parents Alan and Deirdre at The Grove, Moordown, had spent the previous evening at a birthday party at Empire nightclub in Holdenhurst Road. At around 2am, he and his friends decided to go to Subway.
A confrontation began between Sloane and Nathan's group of friends, and it was during this altercation that Nathan suffered fatal head injuries. He died at 10pm that day at Poole Hospital.
Grade A student Nathan was studying for A-levels in information technology, economics and business and accounting at Brockenhurst College.
Alan and Deirdre said: "He was a caring, loving son, who was full of life, and hard-working.
"He loved football, golf and snooker, and was an excellent sportsman with a bedroom full of trophies."
They added: "He was well loved by an amazing group of friends and by his family."
After his death, Nathan's family made the decision to donate his organs - helping to save the lives of two adults and two children.
Brother Darren, 21, said: "It shows his life wasn't wasted. He has gone on to help people in other ways."
Judge Guy Boney QC, sitting at Winchester Crown Court yesterday, ordered pre-sentence reports and told Sloane he would be sentenced on July 21.

Thinking of you on your birthday Nathan
But that is nothing new

Your hand we cannot touch,
But God will take our greetings
To the one we love so much.

missing you
It was 2 years without you yesterday 2 years of heartache and disbelief 2 years of not seeing your lovely smile or hearing your voice. So many people have been amazing lighting candles, sending texts and flowers a wonderful tribute to a truly amazing son. You had and still have some fantastic friends. We are so so proud of you, we loved you all your short life and will always love you till we hopefully meet again. All our love Mum and Dad xxx
UNTILL WE MEET AGAIN.xXx
I know what you're thinking. You think I'm dead. Because you cannot see me with your human eye, cannot feel me with your hands or hold me in your arms, you think I am gone forever.
You recall how I looked when I left this place, and you cannot remotely imagine that I could possibly be alive in another place. You are racked and torn by the pain of our separation and it blinds you to that which is right in front of you... me..............
I'm here to tell you different. You were worthy of my love and undying devotion on earth as I of yours. Do you really believe this love would be snatched from us forever by a loving Creator simply because I wasn't human? Was I not a living, breathing creation with personality? How could I have been so if I didn't possess the energy of soul, spirit and loving light? And if this energy is and always will be, then how can it be that I am dead?
.................
You say that all you have left are memories. Not so. You see, when I took leave of my earthly body I left a little something behind for you. You can't touch it, hold it or examine it for what I left behind is far too uninhibited for confinement. I left behind a piece of my soul. I placed it right next to your own which is quite fitting as we were always side by side in our earthly life together. I love you too much to have left you with nothing but memories, which tend to fade and grow cloudy as the years go by.
I love you too much to have vanished without a trace. How selfish it would be of me to remove love and light from your life.
.............
I understand your tears, each one you shed is testament to your love for me and I am honored and humbled. But don't forget the good things we shared - remember and smile. This is an honor for me as well. And when you need me I will be here. Close your eyes, relax, take slow, deep breaths and picture me in your mind. Shut off the world and your notions of what death is and give me a chance. Look for the subtle signs I send you. Don't stop being proud of me, I am a son to be proud of, I am still your son and soul mate.
Don't memorialize the death of my body but instead honor and celebrate my never-ending life for it is eternal and forever as is my love for you.
Until we meet again...

I never knew you, but i heard all about you. It saddens me that someone like you who had soo much going for yourself gets taken and cheated out of a great future. It seems like life is just a constant war between good and bad...you defeated all the bad with all the good you did, and for that you have earned my highest respect. I wish you were still here man...im sure we would've been best friends. Watch over us, help keep us safe. Rest in peace.
